Mike Folmar is a Health and Safety Advisor in our Atlanta location. He has been with the Concentra organization since 1991, initially serving as a Functional Capacity Evaluator/Athletic Trainer. While in this role, he performed evaluations to determine the return-to-work readiness of patients. Mr. Folmar later served as an “At Work” consultant where he developed and presented lectures on pre-work stretching programs, back safety, ergonomics, and heat-related illnesses in the workplace.
Mr. Folmar has developed ADA-compliant physical agility tests for employers throughout Georgia. In addition, he has conducted training seminars throughout Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina on advanced ergonomics and has taught numerous classes in CPR/AED, first aid, and blood borne pathogens.
