Joseph T. Steensma, CIH, MPH

Chief Industrial Hygienist and Vice President of Development

Since founding Industrial Solutions Group in 2000, Joe Steensma has been integrally involved in the development and growth of the multiple services lines offered by the company, which led to a long-standing relationship with Concentra Health Services. That relationship culminated in the acquisition of ISG by Concentra in early 2007, but Mr. Steensma’s role remains largely unchanged. He is responsible for ensuring that the professional staff at Concentra EHS have all the tools – knowledge, skills, and equipment – to exceed our customers’ expectations. He also ensures that our customers’ needs are being met in every facet of our business.

Prior to founding ISG, Mr. Steensma worked as a toxicologist for Monsanto Co., was an EHS and industrial hygiene specialist for The Weldon Spring Site Remedial Action Project (Department of Energy Nuclear site remediation), and served in senior-level management positions for several Fortune 100 companies.
