About Concentra Environmental, Health, and Safety Services

Concentra Environmental, Health, and Safety Services (Concentra EHS) helps companies improve the health and safety of their workplace environment, and, at the same time, decrease the impact of their operations on the environment. Not only do our efforts typically result in fewer employee injuries and illnesses, but they also typically result in fewer fines from regulatory agencies and fewer lawsuits in the long run.

Concentra EHS has built quality into our process to ensure we provide our customers with a consistently quality service:

  • Needs Assessment: We listen to our customers to identify their true needs. We provide our customers with a course of action in non-technical terms that is easy to understand.
  • Pricing: We work with our customers to determine their unique level of risk both now and in the future. We help them balance that future risk versus the cost of acting today.
  • Service Performance: Our experienced professionals perform all necessary tasks using NIOSH, OSHA, and/or approved EPA methods.
  • Recommendations: We write a thorough report using non-technical language that is easy to understand, and we meet with customers in person to answer all their questions.
  • Follow Up: We perform a quality check after each job to gain feedback from our customers, and we perform any additional services that the customer requests.

History

Concentra EHS began as the Industrial Solutions Group, Inc. (ISG), in Fort Wayne, Indiana. ISG was founded in 2000 to provide an under-served market with quality industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, safety, ergonomics, and environmental services.

ISG was established by individuals with expertise in various aspects of environmental science, safety, industrial hygiene, ergonomics, compliance, ecology, and risk management. Although it was a small company, ISG was continually called upon for assignments that few others could handle.

In 2007, ISG became part of Concentra to offer an expanded range of services to the company's employer clients.
